Faith, Spirituality, and Family Building is a powerful, in-person discussion that brings together progressive faith leaders, therapists, and community voices to explore the intersection of infertility, spirituality, and reproductive justice. This gathering creates intentional space to unpack the stigma often rooted in church and faith communities, while honoring the deeply personal and cultural questions many individuals carry on their family-building journeys.

Through open dialogue and shared reflection, this event invites participants to engage in conversations that are too often silenced—centering compassion, curiosity, and community. Grounded in the fertility justice movement, it affirms that spirituality and reproductive autonomy can coexist, and that everyone deserves space to process their experiences without judgment.

As BIAW expands its reach, this moment marks a meaningful step in bringing these critical conversations to new communities—meeting people where they are, and holding space for the full spectrum of their lived experiences.

Oshun Griot x Black (in)Fertility Awareness Week Present: An Anti-Holiday Healing Gathering

The holidays can be complicated, especially if you are navigating infertility, IVF, loss, or trying to conceive.

Join Oshun Griot and Black (in)Fertility Awareness Week for an afternoon of rest, reflection, and community care.

This gathering centers Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian people navigating fertility, loss, or the emotional weight of the season. It is open to everyone.

We will slow down together with a sound and meditation session, a therapist-led conversation about fertility and grief, and an honest Q&A about how to care for yourself through the holidays.

Guests can also enjoy ear acupressure, tea and self-care stations, and lunch in community.

Expect a calm, welcoming space to breathe, connect, and simply be. No pressure to be positive, no need to have it all figured out. Just warmth, care, and community.
