Oshun Griot is an infertility and healing app and storytelling platform created for people of color. It offers honest, compassionate support for those navigating infertility, IVF, miscarriage, grief, and reproductive loss, helping people feel seen, cared for, and connected through every stage of the fertility journey.

Through its digital app, in-person healing events, and curated Oshun Griot Healing Boxes, the platform reimagines fertility wellness and care by blending storytelling, emotional support, and community.

About the Founder

Reniqua Allen-Lamphere, PhD, is a journalist, author, and television producer whose work explores race, reproductive justice, and healing. She is the author of It Was All a Dream: A New Generation Confronts the Broken Promise to Black America (Nation Books/Hachette, 2019) and holds a doctorate in American Studies.

Reniqua brings both academic insight and lived experience to her work on infertility, IVF, miscarriage, and mental health for people of color. Her reporting and producing have appeared across The Guardian, The New York Times, PBS, Apple TV+, and TED. She is also the creator of Fertility Noir (Penguin Random House, 2027) and the forthcoming PBS-supported documentary Infertile Ground, which explores how environmental injustice intersects with reproductive health.
